He is the son of Aizu Nagashige and used to sign NagaHiro. He worked under Nagamichi school and then with 3rd Generation Iga No Kami Kinmichi Mon.Kinimichi style can be seen in this sword in jigane and hamon. He is a high rank smith, Wazmono and signed Wakasa No Kami FujiWara MichiToki. Blade is Mumie, no Mie. A large, very thick armour piercing tanto. Its a O-Tanto, as its over 13 long!! 13.28 (33.2 cm) length. Sori is 0.3 cm.
This Sword has tons of activity to study, very fine nio and nie, sunigashi about the hamon, kinsuji and a streaked boshi with beutiful sunigashi, typical of KinMichi school. Hamon is Suguha and ashi and koashi. Jigane is KoItame with jinie and utsuri and chikei, its very nice jigane.
The blade has some forging folding flaws or loose jigane on one side, as shown in the photo. It is a very healthy and thick blade though. The polish is fairly new and in very good condition. Blade is Triangular shaped as it so thick, which is fairly rare.Has NBTHK Hozon paper and is in shirasaya. Has a gold foil copper habaki with some pealing as shown. I imported this blade from Japan.
